It's a glorious day in Northeastern Pennsylvania, and I'm not stuck in an office. So what have I been doing all morning? Designing this blog that I've been contemplating for, you should pardon the expression, a coon's age. I've pretty much used up what creativity I might have brought to the day, though, so this is all there is for now. I'll be posting a broadside on the barn now and again, about books and travels, reminiscences, things that irk me and things that make my heart sing...same stuff everybody blogs about. I'm going to spend the rest of this day outside playing in dirt and thinking.
Hooray! I look forward to your bloggings Linda. You've inspired me to resurrect at least one of mine.
ReplyDeleteMost marvelous that you are blogging, and also that you will not spend the rest of your beautiful day indoors. Like the layout!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, this is gonna be GREAT! Welcome back to blogging, Linda, and I'm looking forward to your posts. I hope you post some of your nostalgia pieces because they're gems.

Ah, there you are!!! Welcome to the blogging world ... looking forward to coming by often! I like what you have done here so far :)
ReplyDeleteI like these boards but I love that photo. I think you are awfully brave to do this. Think I'd get the blogging version of stage fright if I tried it. And I agree with Charlie: that clip of your relatives' shop on Murr's blog was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAnother thought: is there a feature that can send an email to let us know when you've done a new post? I need these aides de memoir.
ReplyDeleteYes, Tui. If you look at the bottom of the comment section there is a link called "Subscribe by e-mail". (I hope to put up a post sometime over this long weekend.)
ReplyDeleteHurrah for starting blogs!
